Deanna comes to St. Athanasius after teaching for the past four years at St. Stephen Martyr. Prior to that she spent 27 years teaching Health, Physical Education, and Special Education P.E. in the Bullitt County school system. She has taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary grade levels.

Mrs. Just received her undergraduate degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Ohio Northern University. She later earned a masters degree in secondary education from the University of Louisville with an emphasis in Health.

Deanna enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and walking her two dogs. She and her husband, Charlie, live in Fern Creek and are members of St. Bernard parish. They have two children—Kate and Kyle. Kate is a pre-school teacher and Kyle attends Spalding University where he plays on the baseball team.
