Mrs. Lebangood was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Our Mother of Sorrows Elementary School and Mercy Academy High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Spalding University and her Masters of Education with a concentration in counseling from the University of Louisville.

Mrs. Lebangood had been teaching for 18 years. She taught 2nd and 4th grade at St. Aloysius School in Shepherdsville, KY. She has spent her last eleven years teaching 4th grade at St. Athanasius. The subjects she teaches are Religion, English, Reading, and Spelling. Mrs. Lebangood enjoys implementing technology in her instruction. She especially likes being creative with the interactive Smart Board where she can make lessons come to life.

Mrs. Lebangood is married and has two children and four grandchildren. In her spare time, Mrs. Lebangood likes to travel, play with her grandchildren, read, walk and crochet.
