I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Spalding University and have been teaching third grade at St. Athanasius since 2000. I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Science Degree at Indiana University Southeast. I am very passionate about teaching and strive to be the best teacher I can be. I am willing to try new ideas and techniques as I feel that flexibility is an essential part of educating children. I love my “job” and the challenge that each new day brings. The greatest gift is being able to see that you’ve made a difference in a child’s life.

I am married to Patrick and have a daughter, Madalyn. I was married at St. Athanasius and my family and grandparents are parishioners of our church. Family is very important to me and I spend a lot of time together with them and my extended family whenever possible. I am so fortunate to still have my grandparents, so my daughter Madalyn, is blessed with having great-grandparents that spoil her rotten! Madalyn just started kindergarten and is loving it!

Currently, I am coaching 4th and 5th grade quick recall with Mrs. Wheat and Mrs Lebangood, and I love it! I teach 4rd grade Social Studies, Religion, and Math.
