Mrs. Williams was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised in Holy Family parish. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Louisville in 1981 and her Masters in Education from the same university in 1987. She currently teaches Religion, Literature, and English. Writing is her favorite subject to teach. She has been teaching at Saint Athanasius for twenty-nine years and thinks it is a wonderful school. For her, teaching is an exciting and rewarding career. She treasures all the children and families she has met throughout the years. She believes that education has progressed rapidly in recent years, and she embraces new technology in her field. She enjoys using the Smartboard interactive whiteboard in her teaching whenever possible and looks forward to new technology as it becomes available.

Mrs. Williams has fourteen brothers and sisters, all of whom live close to the Louisville area. She and her husband Terry have been married for thirty-eight years and they have two adult sons and four precious grandchildren. Her son Kevin is an active duty Major in the United States Marine Corps and is currently serving in Afghanistan. Her son Marty works in information technology for Yellow Roadway Corporation and lives in Overland Park, Kansas. Mrs. Williams enjoys reading, quilting, card making, and especially traveling to visit her children and grandchildren.
