Mrs. Bartsch recieved her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Bellarmine University and her Bachelors Degree from Edgecliff College/Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio. She too, has received her master catechist certificate from the Archdiocese of Louisville.

She has spent more than 25 years teaching in Catholic Schools, including St. Jerome and St. Edward schools, both here in Louisville. Mrs. Bartsch, her husband, Howard and daughter, Mary, are new members of St. Athanasius parish. Mrs. Bartsch enjoys playing guitar at both 9:00am mass on Sundays, and children’s liturgies during school. Mary is enrolled in the ERE program. LIFE IS GOOD on the "A" team!
