I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Brescia University in 1988 and my Master of Arts in Education from Bellarmine University in 1994. I began my teaching career in Jacksonville, North Carolina with a second grade class. After two years, I moved to Louisville where I began teaching middle school Language Arts at St. Bartholomew. I taught the Language Arts for two years and was moved into teaching Math and Religion. It was there that I discovered my true passion for teaching lies within Math and middle school! In 2005 I joined the St. Athanasius community as 8th grade Religion and 7th & 8th grade Math teacher. I am thrilled to be a part of St. Athanasius.

My husband, James, and I are members of St. Athanasius Parish. We have one daughter, Jessica and a granddaughter, Leila. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, gardening, reading, and playing with Leila.
