Mrs. Thompson received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Brescia University in 1972. She attended the University of Louisville from 1988-1990 studying Music Teaching Methods.

Mrs. Thompson teaches Music to Kindergarten through 8th grade at St. Athanasius on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

She has completed 25 years at St. Athanasius as the Music Teacher, and 3 years at St. Leonard. She also completed 14 years as the Music Teacher at Sts. Simon & Jude.

St. Athanasius has been her parish for 30 years. She and her husband have been married for 38 years. They have 3 grown daughters who attended St. Athanasius School.
